Kasondra Cohen-Herrendorf, Founder and CEO
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Kasondra Cohen-Herrendorf is a third-generation philanthropist, VP and CEO of Herrendorf Family Foundation Inc., and founder and CEO of Face of Today Foundation. Learning from her own mental health journey, and experiencing the sudden loss of her father Hershel Herrendorf, Kasondra dedicated herself to impact work, building international non-profit programs that focus on wrap-around support, scholarships and bursaries. Through her trust-based grant-making and stewardship, new programs are addressing social gaps while supporting young leaders and families facing barriers. As a result, students and families can thrive through both educational opportunities and meaningful social and community engagement. Since it's inception, Face of Today has raised over $1 million dollars to support community giving initiatives, and in 2019 opened the Cohen Centre for Social Enterprise. Kasondra is a recipient of the BCBusiness 30 under 30 award, and Forum for Women Entrepreneurs Nominee. Kasondra has partnered with WE, the Sarah MacLachlan School of Music, Music Heals, the Street to Home Foundation, Boys Club Network and Ray-Cam Co-operative Center to bring mental health solutions to Canadian youth.
